Silver Lake

Before 1960, an agricultural hill was located here. The original terrain level can be seen at the location of the power pole opposite. For the embankment of the highway, the road builders found the suitable red sand here. During the excavation work, some springs were unexpectedly encountered, which made further exploitation very difficult. After the pumps were stopped, the present lake was formed.
